Instructions for New Patients

Before you travel to the office for a dental appointment, we ask that you:

  1. Reschedule non-emergency dental treatment if you are feeling ill or have had a fever in the last 24 hours. And, if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 10 days, even if you are asymptomatic. Please call to let us know if you have had close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 10 days.
  2. Complete the New Patient Forms which were sent in the Welcome Email and can also be found here and under the “For Patients” tab of our website.
  3. Bring layers of clothing to keep you warm during your visit. (Due to PPE requirements, we will keep the temperature in the office cool to ensure the comfort of clinical staff.) This is optional, and we do have blankets here for you too.

At your appointment, we will:

  1. Obtain your vitals and review your medical history, including all medications and supplements you are currently taking. If you have a list of medications, please bring this at the time of your visit.
  2. Request that you review and initial a short questionnaire and sign an informed consent for treatment. We will answer all questions you have before starting dental procedures.
  3. Ask that you swish for 30 seconds with a mouth rinse before we begin your treatment.
